Preparation of the Layout Board First, mark the center position of the turnout's tie bar. At this location, drill a 12mm hole or a corresponding long slot. Using the template provided, mark the mounting holes from underneath the layout. 2. Preparation of the the switch maschine As delivered, there are two flexible throw rods attached to the cover of the mechanism. These should be removed first. 3. Attaching the throw rod Depending on the existing conditions ( Thickness of the layout plate, desired throw pressure, etc.) select the thicker or thinnerthrow rod and attach it to the traversing rack, using the screws provided. For JHM-switches the use of the thinner throe (0.5mm) rod is recommended. 4. Final Mounting MWA02-S The assembled switch machine may now be fastened under the layout plate. The adjustment lever may be used to achive smalladjustments. In addition, by using the red lever on top of thehousing, it is easy to establish the center position of the rack. since the traversing rack may be moved by hand , pressing the red lever on the housing makes it possible to locate the center position of the rack. This an exact adjustment of the fexible rod possible. It is important that there is no obstruction to prevent the traversing rack from travelling to its full exent in both directions, in order to activate the automatic shut-off and permit reverse operation 5. Wiring Operating Voltage: Brown to Turnout Controls, Red to Power Pack ( 16 Volts AC, 1,0 Ampere) Polarization of the Turnout: Yellow to the Turnout Frog, Blue to the Turnout Points. Since the switch machine includes an automatic shut-off device, it is possible to use either push buttons or toggle switches to operate the machine. Installation des aiguillages: 1. La preparation du panneau supportant la voie: D'abord, marquer la position centrale du tirant de l'aiguilleur. A cet endroit, forer un trou de 12 mm ou une longue fente correspondante. Employer le gabarit fourni, marquer les trous de fixation sous le panneau. 2. Lapreparation de l'aiguiller: Dans le kit se trouvent deux tiges flexibles fixees au couvercle du mecanisme. Fixation de la tige de guidage: Selon les caracteristiques existantes ( epaisseur du panneau supportant les voies, de la force necessaire de reglage desiree, etc) choisissez latige la plus epaisse ou la plus mince et attachez-la au support transversal, a l'aide des vis fournies. Pour des commutateurs JHM, l'utilisation de latige la plus mince ( 0,5 millimetres) est recommandee. 4. Montage final du MWA02S: L'aiguillage assemble peut maintenantetre fixe sous panneau. MWA02S seulement: le levier d'ajustement du MWA02S peut etre employe pourfinaliser les reglages. En outr, en employant le levier rouge sur le boitier, il est facile d'etablir la position centrale du support. Puisque le support transversal peut etre deplace a la main, on peut appuyer sur le levier rouge situe sur le boitier pour localiser la position centrale du support. ceci rend possible un ajustement exact de la tige flexible. Il est important qu'il n'y ait aucun obstacle pour empecher le support transversal de se deplacer jusqu'a sa position extreme dans les deux directions, afin d'activer l#interruption automatique et de permettre l'operation inverse. 5 Cablage du MWA02S: Alimentation: Marron relie aux commandes d'aiguillage, Rouge au transformateur de puissance ( 16 volts continu, 1 ampere). Polarisation de l'aiguillage: Jaune relie au coeur d'aiguillage, Bleu aux lames d'aiguillage comporte un dispositif d'interruption automatique, il est possible d'employer soit des boutons-poussoir soit des interrupteurs a levier pour actionner l'appareil. more information see http://www.hoffmann-antrieb.de
