This 78’ heavyweight paired-window coach car is grey with yellow sides and red lettering and runs on 6-wheel passenger trucks. Built for UP by Pullman in 1922, and numbered into UP series 402-421, this car was updated with air conditioning in 1936. This car was one of the typical coach styles that served many of the passenger car fleets as early as the 1930s. These cars could be found in both local and regional trains and lasted long into the lightweight era as commuter cars and in MOW service.
